Futerpenol® — Natural Metabolic Conditioning for Fish Health, Performance & Bioresilience

A 100 % natural, non-pharmacological system developed by MNL Group to enhance fish immunity, reduce antibiotic dependence, and promote sustainable performance across aquaculture production cycles.

. Animal Health Division

From Nature to Aquaculture Innovation

Futerpenol® is a metabolic conditioning system designed to help fish maintain physiological balance under chronic production challenges such as temperature shifts, transfer, crowding, oxygen variation, and pathogen pressure.

By acting on the metabolic–inflammatory–oxidative axis, Futerpenol® supports better energy allocation, reduced physiological cost, and greater bioresilience throughout the production cycle.

Science, sustainability, and performance — working together to support bioresilient aquaculture.

More About Sustainability
2017–2023

Proven Results in Real Aquaculture Conditions

Over six years of field evaluations across 36 commercial salmon centers (~900,000 fish) demonstrate how Futerpenol™ strengthens fish immunity, reduces mortality, and promotes sustainable aquaculture performance.

These results come from independent assessments by Aquabench, Pathovet, and Chilean universities (UACH and PUCV), validating the consistent impact of our natural immunomodulatory technology.

Proven Results Futerpenol
  • Field evaluations show that Futerpenol™ produces a significant increase in cytotoxic lymphocyte activity and cytokine expression associated with immune activation, demonstrating that the product stimulates both innate and adaptive immunity. This translates into stronger resistance against bacterial and environmental stress, especially during critical production phases like transfer and smoltification.

    Verified by Pathovet, 2017–2022.

  • Farms using Futerpenol™ consistently reported substantially lower total mortality during active use, indicating greater bioresilience and recovery capacity under environmental and operational stress.

    Validated by Pathovet and UACH.

  • Futerpenol™ programs achieved markedly lower mortality during active use and sustained improvements through the end of the production cycle, reflecting more stable organismal performance over long-term challenges.

    Source: Aquabench, 2022.

  • Cycle-closed evaluations revealed a significant reduction in antibiotic use among farms on Futerpenol™ programs, associated with more stable biological performance under production stressors — contributing to responsible antimicrobial practices.

    Source: Aquabench, 2022.

  • Fish on Futerpenol™ programs showed measurable improvements in intestinal integrity and feed conversion, suggesting better nutrient absorption, reduced physiological stress, and more efficient use of nutritional resources throughout the production cycle.

    Source: Pathovet, 2021.
